Multi-hop and Double VPN: compare the actual route
Mozilla’s Multi-hop instructions describe selecting an entry location and an exit location. Its guidance also warns of possible slower performance, increased battery use and a reduced choice of countries. Treat that as a deliberate routing option, not a switch that makes every online task better.
